The entire visual media communication is articulated through the film & television grammar. Thus editing is the backbone of any visual program. Students will get adequate knowledge of grammar both for film and television, documentaries, ad-films (TVCs), TC serials and multi-camera productions. Various types of cuts and its usage, fluidity of movements, the power of cut, news-reel cutting, documentary editing, news editing, on-line editing for multi-camera productions are part of the curriculum. Growth of the film grammar is inclusive.
Students are given inputs of various operating systems used in the industry. Elementary vfx, graphics and basics of sound recording have been included to enrich the work of the would be editors.
