GKFTII Orientation Program 2019

Gulshan Kumar Film and Television Institute of India organized an Orientation Program on 19th August'19 for the fresh batch of Gulshan Kumar Journalism and Mass Communication Institute of India and GKFTII- School of Fashion & Design at Laxmi Studio, Film City, Noida. The event was graced with many famous personalities like - Dr. Sambit Patra (National Spokesperson BJP) being the chief guest and Mr. Satish Kaushik (Renowned Actor and Director), Mr. Himansh Kohli (Renowned Bollywood Actor), Mr. Pahlaj Nihalani (Film Producer), Mr. Ajit Anjum (Sr. TV Journalist & Columnist), Mr. Rohit Gandhi (Renowned Fashion Designer), Mr. Ashutosh (Sr. TV Journalist & Columnist), Ms. Sudesh Dua (Director T-Series), Mr. Hitesh Ralhan (Director of T-Series Educational Wing), Mr. Samir Mukherjee (Corporate Head T-Series), Dr. Deepti Trivedi (Vice President T-Series Educational Wing), Prof. Kalyan Sarkar (Dean GKFTII – School of Film & TV) and Prof. Mansoor Naqvi (Associate Dean GKFTII – School of Film & TV) to name a few.
The event was started with the live performances by the very talented singing students of TSA - Daksh Kalra, Manya Tripathi, and Manoj Chaddha and these talented artists created a musical ambiance at the venue.
Following the customary tradition, the event was launched with the lamp lighting ceremony by all the dignitaries. The event was divided into two sessions where the Chief guest Dr. Sambit Patra, Mr. Pahlaj Nihalani, Mr.Ashutosh, and Mr. Ajith Anjum gave their views on the topic “JAN NA KITNA JARURI HAI” and motivate GKFTII’s new students.
Whereas the command of the second session hold by Ms.Kushali Kumar, Mr. Satish Kaushik, Mr. Himansh Kohli, and Mr. Rohit Gandhi. This was a special interaction session where all the guests shared their own experiences and guided the new generation how to achieve their goals in the field of Cinema, Fashion, and other fields as well. The question-answer round has created the learning atmosphere at the venue. Students got a chance to interact and learn from the legendries.
The final vote of thanks was given by Prof Kalyan Sarkar.
There was a gathering on around 600 and the event was overall a huge success.
