Convocation Ceremony of GKFTII 4th Batch (3 Months Courses)

The fourth convocation ceremony was a way of building the runway for the students to land in the heart of the media industry with confidence. In presence of Mrs Sudesh Kumari, Director, GKFTII, and the guests, the program was a stupendous success. Big names from Bollywood whose opinion matters were present to grace the occasion. Mr Jasbir Jassi, renowned Bollywood singer, lyricist, and actor, whom the students welcomed with loud cheers, was radiating modesty in spite of his great celebrity status. His humility attracted the students.
Mr Sanjay Vidyarthy, the famous bollywood music director-singer and the man behind major reality shows like, TVS Sa Re Ga Ma, Little Champs, Voice of India and Indian Idol mesmerized the students and the gathering with his powerful voice. Both the dignitaries gave valuable last moment tips to the passing out students before they were to take off for their dream world. Mr Vidyarthy had all praise for the faculty and staff. Mr Vidyarthy informed the house that Mr Mohan Sai, student of TSA has made it to the final rounds of The Voice of India, season -3 of Star TV.
Mr Jasbir reminded the audience that he got his first break from T-Series thus making him a T-Series product. He wanted the students to be passionate about their chosen field. The secret of success lay within the concentration power of an artist. He reminded the students that fame and wealth involved a luck factor whereas educating yourself is a matter of choice. He praised the faculty for their relentless effort in grooming the students to this great level. He too felt that students would not get better place for media education. Mr Jasbir Jassi was so impressed that he invited students of sound and editing for internship under his able leadership.
Mr Daksh Kalra & Ms Vaani Bhasin, both ex students of TSA enthralled the gathering with their singing skills. Students of GKFTII captivated the congregation with their short heart-wrenching theatre play, ‘Toba Tek Singh’, directed by Ms Ashima Khanna, Lecturer in acting department. The prestigious diploma-certificates were distributed with much fanfare by the Director, GKFTII, Madam Sudesh Kumari along with the guests. Thereafter a pledge was taken by all passing out students not to bring ill repute to their alma-mater and the industry by any wrong action of the individual.
Madam Sudesh Kumari, Director, GKFTII, blessed all the students and appreciated the good work done by the faculty and staff of GKFTII and TSA. She assured full support on behalf of T-Series family.
